Daughters of the King (DOK) will again help commemorate “All Saints’ Day” on Sunday, Nov. 2nd, with a display of handmade crosses representing those special people in our lives. Cross making workshops will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 & 26 after the each service in the parish hall. Please bring pictures of your loved ones who have passed on, along with other pictures or phrases suggesting their work, hobbies, or travel. Consider using words, stickers, or cutouts to convey a special message. Blank crosses, glue, scissors, and other supplies will be available for your use each Sunday.. Remember your “Accidental Saints” too! Prayerfully consider those people who came into your life when you needed them most; a mentor, dear friend, or someone who supported you in a time of crisis. This is your chance to take the opportunity to thank God for bringing that special people into your life. All crosses previously displayed in past years will be used this year.
