On the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM join us at The Welcome Table at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Santa Clarita. This experience is crafted specifically for members of the LGBTQ+ community, many of whom have had the Church, The Bible or God used as a weapon against them. This experience is intended to be a safe space for LGBTQ+ folk and their allies who are seeking to explore faith, seek God and feel loved for their authentic selves.

We’ll begin building community by gathering around a table for a shared potluck meal that includes, prayer, reflection and discussion; the experience continues as we carefully make our way to a different kind of table for Communion, which is for absolutely everyone into exclusions. The entire experience happens in our parish hall and we use live contemporary music as a thread through the evening to connect each part of the evening.
It is our hope that through this experience we will be able make new connections, heal some deep wounds, and open some minds. It is also our hope to share in the unconditional love God has for all people by celebrating our shared humanity, the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, the vibrancy it brings to the world and the perfectly crafted divinity of every human being no matter who they are, who they love or how they identify.

This is a space for acceptance, hope, lament, comfort, joy and love. This is a space where there are no outcasts.
We look forward to welcoming you to the table!
